Aden outlined three options: a 3‑inch hot‑mix repave for $57,700; a 4‑inch hot‑mix repave for $66,200; or full removal and replace using crushed asphalt/concrete from Stenzel Excavating for $8,500 (requiring approximately 65 tons). He said patching by Public Works would cost about $855 per load and take two to three loads and roughly four hours of labor. Councilmember Brent Pavelko recommended patching and proposed signage to bar commercial vehicles; the council voted to table the estimates until the second meeting in August to allow further study.
