The Lakefield City Council on July 6 approved Resolution 26‑21 to appoint election judges for the upcoming Aug. 11 primary and Nov. 3 general election.
City Clerk Holly Rademacher told the council the selected judges will be paid $13 per hour and that "the election will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, polls open from 7 am to 8 pm." She noted she was still confirming availability for some highlighted names on the list. The motion to approve the resolution was made by Councilmember Heather Hussong‑Reasoner and seconded by Councilmember Andrea Monson; the vote was unanimous.
