• Approved minutes of the Sept. 22, 2025 meeting (motion by Waugh; seconded by House; ayes: 3).
• Approved and signed a proclamation declaring October 2025 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month (motion by House; seconded by Waugh; ayes: 3).
• Authorized the county sheriff to offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus for a certified deputy, payable $2,500 at hiring and $2,500 after the probationary period (motion by Waugh; seconded by House; ayes: 3).
• Authorized the auditor to cancel check #47730 (dated June 26, 2025) issued to Iowa State Association of Counties in the amount of $12.30 (motion by House; seconded by Waugh; ayes: 3).
• Approved payroll (#48794-48879) and claims (ACH #4431 & #4444; Claims #4368-4430, #4432-4443, #4445-4461; Secondary Roads #31173-31217).
• Denied a request to refund the late-payment penalty on the 1st half property taxes for Parcel #076-000760636183150 (motion by Waugh; seconded by House; ayes: 3).
• Acknowledged receipt of an ownership transfer notice for Keosauqua Sow Farm (Facility #60129) and a one-year Manure Management Plan update from Caleb Johnson (Facility #70626).
• Authorized Supervisor House to electronically sign the Chief Elected Officials Shared Liability Agreement for the Eastern Iowa Workforce Development Area (motion by Waugh; seconded by Meek; ayes: 3).
• Tabled consideration of a 3-year preventative maintenance agreement for the Annex generator with Interstate Power Systems until the Oct. 27, 2025 meeting.
