Board adopts Fly Rock ordinance amendment, approves payroll and claims, and acknowledges manure-plan updates

The Van Buren County Board of Supervisors adopted Van Buren County Ordinance #2023-2, Amendment #1 ("Van Buren County Fly Rock Ordinance"), which had been adopted Sept. 8, 2025 and published Sept. 11, 2025. The motion to adopt the amendment as a supplement to the county code passed on a roll call vote: Meek Aye, Waugh Aye, House Aye.
The board also approved payroll (checks #48635–48716), a handwritten ACH claim (#4305), and claims #4306–4367 (with Secondary Roads claims #31143–31172). Additionally, the board acknowledged receipt of manure management plan updates from Monty J. Unkrich (Anderson Finisher, Facility #65520) and Dustin Unkrich (Mt. Zion East Site, Facility #67925).
