Mayor Karen Lithgow read a proclamation recognizing Oct. 15, 2025 as Greater Lantana Chamber of Commerce Day and invited the chamber’s board to the podium.
Chamber President Natalie accepted the proclamation on behalf of the organization and described a subsidized leadership program the chamber runs. She said the program includes five or six day-long field trips to regional sites, historical tours and industry visits and that the chamber subsidizes most of the cost so resident participants pay $350, a fraction of similar programs elsewhere.
Councilors thanked the chamber for ongoing business support and encouraged residents and town employees to consider the program; the proclamation required no council action beyond recognition.
