The Woodbury County Board of Supervisors approved notices and direct-sale resolutions for several county-owned parcels and conducted an auction for one lot.
Acting Chair opened a public auction for the parcel ending in 1002 (2014 Geneva Street). After inviting bids, a person who identified himself on the record as "Ian Boy" offered $1,200; there were no other bids and the board voted to sell the parcel for that amount. The board then opened and closed public hearings and approved direct sales of parcels ending in 2001 (1322 Summit Street), 4003 (13th Street), 4002 (1302 Douglas Street) and 8001 (1218–22 Douglas Street) to the City of Sioux City, each passing on unanimous voice votes.
During the auction the acting chair instructed prospective bidders to identify themselves and state an amount; on the record one bidder said, "My name is Ian Boy, and I would like to start at 1,200." Board members moved and seconded the sale motions and recorded the votes as carried unanimously.
