Wilbur council agrees to consider moving meetings to 6 p.m.; FEMA meeting canceled

Council Member Rich Jaeger asked whether the council could change its regular meeting time to an earlier hour; after brief discussion the council agreed to shift the start time to 6:00 p.m. Clerk/Treasurer Melissa Bulger said she will prepare the ordinance language and place it for consideration at the next meeting.
During the same reports segment, Roy Scheibner asked about fertilizing the cemetery. Clerk Bulger also informed the council that a FEMA meeting scheduled for Feb. 25 had been canceled because of a DHS shutdown; no new date was provided during the session.
