Supervisor David Gunster told the Board that Delaware River Solar is no longer interested in developing a solar generating system on Palmer Hill Road, and that a different company, Bullrock, has taken an interest and would like to present an overview to the Board this month. The matter remains in the informational stage: the Board requested a presentation from Bullrock and will review a Special Use Permit form for the Town’s new solar law at an upcoming work session.
The Board noted that the Special Use Permit form currently in circulation needs editing because it was formatted for a prior Carrier Services project; edits will be made at the January Work Session. No permits or approvals were granted at the meeting; the Board awaits Bullrock’s overview and subsequent application materials.
