The Wilbur Town Council on Feb. 17 approved payroll checks 28983–28995 in the amount of $11,798.79 and accounts payable checks 28996–29008 in the amount of $43,822.73, and approved the minutes from the Feb. 3, 2026 regular session. Council Member Roy Scheibner moved the consent agenda; Mayor Pro Tem John Hanon seconded and the motion passed with all members present voting in favor.
During the citizen-comment period, Robert Shaw told the council he wanted the town to review the cargo-container ordinance after being contacted by Nuisance Director Tim Rogers. Council members agreed to place the ordinance item on the next meeting agenda to give council time to read the current code before discussion.
