Commission delays decision on $100,000+ county signage plan to review funding and phasing

Commissioners raised questions about the $100,000-plus estimate, where funds would come from, and whether the sheriff's budget or tourism TRCC funds could cover portions. The commission agreed to table action for two weeks while staff and the sheriff review budgets and return with a recommended scope and cost breakdown.
The commission did not adopt a contract or expenditure authorization at the meeting; staff will return recommended phase 1 buildings and precise cost estimates at the next regular meeting.
