Contractor explains machines, compost source and plug depth for Clive's lawn treatments

Staff and the contractor said the compost is produced by Metro Waste from yard-waste (leaves, branches and grass clippings), cured and screened before use. Ken added that the program typically sets tines to pull "3, 3.5 inch plugs," and staff recommended discretion on plug size in very dry, compacted soils to avoid damage.
The contractor described sequencing: crews notify residents in advance, start the aeration/seeding crew and route the compost crew about 48 hours later, with weather occasionally changing the schedule.
