Byron council authorizes mayor to sign dispatch-services agreement with First Due

The Byron Mayor and Council adopted a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement between the City of Byron and Locality Media, Inc. (First Due) to provide dispatch services. The motion was made by James Richardson, seconded by Chris Hodges, and approved unanimously at the Jan. 13, 2025 meeting.
The resolution authorizes the Mayor to execute the agreement in substantially the same form as the attached Exhibit A (per the minutes). The record does not include the contract text or dollar amounts; the resolution directs the mayor and staff to proceed with execution in the form presented to council.
