Tonkawa council appoints three to Development Authority
Summary

The Tonkawa City Council on Dec. 16 approved recommendations from the Tonkawa Development Authority to fill three trustee positions. The council reappointed Dennis Buss to Trustee III and Jon Lapczenski to Trustee IX and appointed Taylor Arndt to Trustee V. Charles Conaghan moved approval and Kenneth Smith seconded; the motion carried with four yes votes and one absence.
Council treated the TDA recommendations as a routine appointment item and did not discuss alternate nominations at length. The appointments were added to the authority's trustee roster as the governing body seeks continued oversight of local development efforts.
