Vanessa Tharp, an event planner contracted by Oakridge, said Oakridge was not contributing funds to their attendance but had contracted her for tourism-related projects; Mouracade said Oakridge would cover printed materials. The Council limited funding to $1,500 of a $3,000 request after reviewing the RTMP balance and hearing the presenters' description of the summit.
