Superintendent Owen Crosby told the Board the district held a Leadership Retreat on July 30 at the McConnell Foundation focused on the theme "Name, Face, Story," allowing administrators to get to know one another through team-building. Crosby said teams built bicycles that were donated to local families as part of community service.
Crosby also reported the district's enrollment stood at 4,285 and commended staff for preparing for the start of the school year. Trustees and principals echoed appreciation for counseling and maintenance staff who assisted with schedules and campus readiness.
