Teacher report and superintendent updates: BPA qualifiers, prom and anti‑bullying presentation set

"I teach a combination 5/6 grade class and they have been working on social/emotional skills, activities where they have to work as a team, and a book series," Pete said, and added that students are becoming more independent and that she is shifting from whole-class instruction toward grade-level lessons and mentor moments within the class.
Superintendent Dan Grabowska reported several district events and student achievements. Prom is scheduled for April 11, 2026; three students—Charlotte Kosel, Gus Kosel and Ada Bertolino—qualified to attend the National BPA Convention in Nashville, Tennessee; an Easter Egg Hunt and bake sale is set for April 5 and a bingo/carnival for April 25. Grabowska also said Jeff Veley will present on bullying March 26 and that time will be made available for parental questions. The superintendent said the district will mail information on the Technology Levy and that a telephone-system update is nearly complete.
