On Feb. 17, 2026 the Roberts School District No. 5 Board of Trustees voted unanimously to place a ten‑year, $30,000 Technology Acquisition and Depreciation Fund Levy on the May 5, 2026 school election ballot. Superintendent Dan Grabowska recommended the levy as "very much needed," and Trustee Debbie Hill moved to run the levy; the motion was seconded by Brad Norman and carried unanimously (YES—Dobbel, Norman, Bissonnette, Hill).
The board entered the official ballot language into the record. The proposition describes the levy as $30,000 per year for ten years, approximately 9.31 mills, for purchasing, renting, repairing and maintaining technological equipment and related services. The ballot text lists estimated tax impacts: approximately $7.08 per year on a home with market value $100,000; $21.24 on $300,000; and $48.81 on $600,000. The minutes also note: "The ballot above presents one option. It contains all information required to be included per 20-9533, MCA."
