Jotham Arber, representing the Panorama Soccer Board, asked the Panora City Council for permission to install an irrigation well on the soccer field property at 506 E. Clay Street. He told the council the proposed well "would be used exclusively for maintaining the soccer fields and would not provide drinking water or serve any residential or commercial use."
Council Member Roger Dorr moved to approve the request contingent on the County issuing the appropriate permits and overseeing the well installation; Brian Dorsett seconded. With the roll being called, the resolution carried unanimously. The council’s approval is explicitly conditioned on County permits and County oversight of the installation — the well approval is not a waiver of county permitting requirements.
The approval resolves the Soccer Board’s immediate request but requires the Board to secure county-level permits before installation. The item was recorded as a resolution and carried on a unanimous roll call vote.
