Board authorizes Lenni Electric change orders, awards turf and propane contracts and appoints Planning Commission alternate

Township Manager Anne W. Klepfer presented two change orders for Lenni Electric related to the Kutztown Rd & 663 ARLE project: Change Order #1 for a new controller timer and cabinet totaling $3,652.00 and Change Order #2 for $2,130.45. The Board authorized both change orders by unanimous vote, noting that replacement of a camera included in Change Order #2 might not be eligible for grant reimbursement.
On bidding and contract awards, the Board approved awarding 2025 Turf Care to Moyer Indoor/Outdoor for $8,523.00 and the 2025 propane contract to Eddinger Propane Gas, Inc. at a $1.40 sell price (motion by Stefan Laessig; second by Dottie Diehl; vote 5‑0).
In new/old business the Board appointed Robert (Bob) Kroll to the Planning Commission Alternate position to fill an unexpired term from Jan. 1, 2025 through Dec. 31, 2028 (motion by Tim Woodward; second by Dottie Diehl; vote 5‑0). The meeting adjourned at 7:45 PM.
