The Town Council approved the Planning Commission's recommendation to subdivide 145 Jungle Road and authorized the subdivision in accordance with the town's Land Development Process and Subdivision Regulations. Jerome Kizer moved for approval; Joey Bagwell seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Council also approved a proposal and scope of services from engineering firm Davis & Floyd for $204,700 to design interior lagoon drainage improvements for Projects 1, 3 and 4. The minutes state the Colleton County Transportation Committee approved funding for the drainage work. Separately, the Council postponed consideration of a $40,027.14 change order from Monteith Construction Corporation for Town Hall fence removal and installation until additional information is received at a future meeting.
The subdivision approval and the drainage design contract were approved unanimously; the fence change order was postponed by motion of Mayor Crawford Moore.
