Township approves LTL permit agreement, authorizes annual bids and extends AMS contract

Upper Hanover Township authorized several administrative and procurement actions at the Jan. 14 meeting under Township Manager Anne Klepfer.
The board approved a proposal from LTL dated Dec. 17, 2024, for 2025 residential permit review and inspection services; the arrangement records fee sharing of 80% to LTL and 20% to the township. The manager said auditors requested a written agreement describing the fee-sharing arrangement; the board approved the proposal unanimously.
The board also authorized staff to solicit annual bids and quotes for seven categories: Cape Seal & Ultrathin Micro Bond; Equipment Rentals with Operators; Road Materials (Stone & Asphalt); Propane; Lawn Care; Tree Maintenance Services; and Line Painting Maintenance.
Finally, the board accepted a one-year extension option on the 2024 AMS Oil & Chip & Crack Sealing contract for 2025 in accordance with the 2022 contract terms.
Why it matters: These administrative approvals set procurement direction for road treatments and maintenance services and finalize the permit-review vendor arrangement auditors requested.
What's next: Staff will issue bid solicitations as authorized; the LTL agreement will govern permit review revenues for 2025.
