Supervisors appoint multiple planning, zoning and advisory members for 2025

At the Jan. 6 organizational meeting, the Upper Hanover Township Board of Supervisors filled multiple advisory and quasi-judicial posts for 2025.
Sharon Bastone was appointed to the unexpired Planning Commission term of Dale Young through Dec. 31, 2026; Jon Warren was appointed to a four-year Planning Commission term (Jan. 1, 2025–Dec. 31, 2028). Eugene Marks was appointed to a three-year term on the Zoning Hearing Board (1/1/25–12/31/27). The board also appointed Brian Nester to a five-year term on the Industrial Development Authority (1/1/25–12/31/29) and Carol Leight to a five-year term on the Parks and Recreation Board (1/1/25–12/31/29). Several positions were left vacant, including a Planning Commission alternate and an Industrial Development Authority unexpired seat.
All appointment motions were passed unanimously. The appointments set terms and membership for the township’s planning, zoning and community boards for the year, clarifying who will represent the township on regional and local panels.
