Upper Hanover Township’s Board of Supervisors on Feb. 11 unanimously approved a Conditional Use application for Dog Daze, LLC to operate a dog daycare at 53 Gravel Pike. Owner Kathleen Diehl testified that interior improvements will create holding pens and exercise/play areas, the facility will operate from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and it will accommodate up to 40 dogs; she said staff will hand‑walk dogs on leashes and manage waste collection and disposal.
Solicitor Joseph Bresnan opened the hearing and the board entered proof of publication and posting into the record before Ms. Diehl’s testimony. The motion to grant the Conditional Use was moved by Stefan Laessig, seconded by Tim Woodward and approved unanimously. The record indicates the business is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and will employ four family members plus temporary or part‑time employees for drop‑off and pick‑up operations.
