Council to pick influent-screen option at tonight's meeting; workshop adjourns

Commissioner Schmidt opened the workshop at 4:30 p.m. and the council reviewed the influent screen bid package with Bearing Construction representative Frank Carman. Council members Jeremy Newnam, Michael Sullivan, Rose Potter and Walter Chase attended, together with Town Administrator Erin Braband and Town Engineer Jason Lytle.
After discussion, Commissioner Rose Potter moved to close the workshop at 5:43 p.m.; Commissioner Michael Sullivan seconded the motion and it was approved unanimously. Council members indicated the formal selection among the three presented influent-screen options would be made at the regular council meeting later that evening and Bearing Construction would be notified of the Town's decision.
