Attorney Ryan told the council Mr. Hause has no concrete plans at present but has previously presented an 11‑lot industrial subdivision concept to the Planning Commission. Commissioner Walter Chase moved to approve the request for a letter of support pending recommendation from the Town’s Planning Commission; Commissioner Jeremy Newnam seconded the motion and the council approved it unanimously.
The council did not record specific conditions on the letter; the motion ties the town’s support to the Planning Commission’s forthcoming recommendation.
The item will return if the Planning Commission issues a recommendation and the county application proceeds through Talbot County review procedures.
