Commission authorizes brief RDA recess, approves June 2 minutes with corrections

The Chair opened Daggett County’s June 9 meeting at 9:03 a.m. and asked for a motion to enter and exit the Redevelopment Agency (RDA) meeting. "We have a motion and a 2nd to go in and out of the redevelopment agency meeting," the Chair said before calling the vote; commissioners answered in the affirmative and the motion carried.
During approval of the minutes from the June 2 meeting, a commissioner moved to correct a tourism paragraph that listed "Crafts Canyon" to read "Kraus Canyon" and to clarify event dates for the Cow Country Rodeo (July 10–11) and the Labor Day weekend festivities. Commissioner Lytle moved to approve the minutes with those changes and the motion passed after a second. The commission then recessed briefly at 9:34 a.m. to conduct a municipal building authority meeting.
