During its Oct. 2 meeting the Trappe Town Council approved multiple ARPA-funded infrastructure projects. The council awarded a water meter and radio-read upgrade to LB Water for $171,064.35 and a security-fencing contract to Chesapeake Fence for $22,490 to enclose Well 4, Well 6 and the water tower together and Well 5 separately.
For sewer cleaning and camera inspection, only one bid — Livingston Septic — was received at $4,560 per day with an estimated 7–10 business days to complete work (maximum $45,600). The council voted to award that project contingent on the town attorney revising and approving contract terms. All motions on these items were recorded as passed unanimously.
