Park Board members echoed that the principal purpose of the proposed bond is to enhance community recreation, and members of the public in attendance urged that bond proceeds be directed toward recreational uses rather than other priorities. City staff recorded those preferences as part of the public input on facility planning.
Councilors did not vote on a specific bond allocation at the session but directed staff to continue planning and to gather cost estimates for repairs and improvements. The meeting adjourned with a motion that carried 5-0; the next regular meeting is April 13, 2026.
