The Calumet Village Council recorded two formal motions during the Sept. 16 public hearing: approval of the meeting agenda and adjournment of the hearing.
Trustee James Tercha moved to approve the agenda, seconded by Trustee Matt L'Esperance. The clerk recorded the result as "Motion Carried 6/0." "Tercha moved, seconded by L’Esperance to approve the agenda as presented," the minutes state.
At the close of the hearing, Trustee Matt L'Esperance moved to adjourn, seconded by James Tercha; the clerk again recorded "Motion Carried 6/0," and the hearing adjourned at 6:28 p.m.
No vote was taken on the proposed grant application itself; the presentation was informational and the village will submit the application to MSHDA and await the agency's decision.
