Council asks staff to study crosswalks and traffic calming, then votes to take no action on VDOT funding resolution

Councilmember Fiege seconded; the motion passed 5-1 with Councilmember Cindy Holdren voting nay.
Separately, Councilmember Quigley moved that the council take no action on Resolution No. 2026-03, which would have funded the locality's share of projects under an agreement with the Virginia Department of Transportation. Councilmember Fiege seconded; the motion carried 6-0.
