The Board approved a request from the Farmingdale High School Thespian Honor Society to hold a 'Theater Showcase: A Night of Musicals' on the Village Green & Gazebo on Sunday, June 8, 2025 (set up 1:30 p.m.; performance 3:00 p.m.; ~30 students; expected attendance 60–100; RESOLVED #2025-05-13). The Board also approved a block party requested by Adam Tabrys for Aug. 23, 2025 with a rain date of Aug. 24 and a full‑day closure of Nelson Street between Harrison Place and Clinton Avenue (RESOLVED #2025-05-17).
Village staff announced a public meeting on June 17 (6:30–8:30 p.m.) at the Farmingdale Public Library to encourage public participation in developing projects for the $4.5 million New York Forward grant. The Board additionally agreed to a pilot project for June and July establishing three 'Medical Parking Only' spaces in front of 308 Main Street on Saturdays from noon to 3:00 p.m.
