"It's still gonna be I mean, the process in its entirety is gonna be probably 2 years before we have a full functioning system out there," the Chair said, outlining the timeline and urging the council to move quickly. Council members confirmed Engineering Associates had provided professional liability insurance and that bid documents and supporting materials were ready to publish.
Council Member (speaker 5) and other members expressed support for approving the engineering work so bidding and procurement could proceed quickly; the Chair moved to approve the engineering contract for the Wheatland Cemetery well replacement, the motion was seconded, and the Chair declared the motion carried. The engineering contract lists costs of $22,240 for the initial engineering work.
