Trustees shift funds to close out South Main Street pole burial, Yoakum Park and DPW garage projects

The package includes a $59,360 transfer from Unrestricted Fund Balance to a Reserve for Special Use/Incentive Bonus, authorization of $42,581.74 to cover remaining South Main Street Phase I utility pole burial costs, and reimbursement of $126,147.05 for Yoakum Park construction expenditures previously advanced from the General Fund.
The minutes further record transfers from the General Fund to the Capital Fund totaling $108,487.86 for final capital costs for the new DPW Garage at Ridge Road; $1,778.44 for DPW renovation of the old garage; and $115,681.36 for 2024–25 street paving. An additional $5,791.84 was transferred from the Water Fund to the Capital Fund for water‑tower construction costs. The board moved and seconded the resolution (#2026-06-30) and adopted it as recorded in the minutes; the minutes do not record further debate or alternative funding scenarios.
