Committee approves Juan Valdez blade sign with standard mounting height

"It is aluminum and it is painted red with white copy," Boone said while confirming the measurements and mounting height.
Committee members asked about the sign dimensions and whether the projection and height met Miami 21 standards; staff confirmed the 8-foot clearance requirement and the package showed the bottom of the blade at 8 feet which complies with the code. The committee voted to approve the blade sign as submitted.
