Council asks staff to vet departmenal laptop after employee retirement

A staff member explained technical limits without the master code: "They can only open the surface of the of the laptop. They can't get into the the deep parts without it," the staff member said. Councilors asked staff to coordinate handing over any codes and to ensure the device is properly reviewed before reassignment.
Staff agreed to send the master code to the designated staffer and to confirm that only authorized personnel receive deep access to the device.
