The Sunman Town Council approved Resolution 2026-04 to declare a 2014 Dodge Charger surplus and authorize its donation to the town of Saint Leon. A council member described contacting Saint Leon officials and a local resident who had been seriously injured; members moved and seconded the donation and expressed thanks to Osgood for facilitating the transfer.
"Adam Buskin, who served many years here in town, he'd been involved in a pretty serious accident," a council member said while describing the rationale for donating the vehicle to Saint Leon. Councilors said Saint Leon's town president and the intended recipient were grateful.
A council member made the motion to donate and another seconded it; the chair later announced the resolution had passed. Councilors thanked both the donor community and local law enforcement for coordinating the transfer.
