Colusa High students to represent county at State Academic Decathlon March 21
Summary
The Colusa High School Academic Decathlon team received a Certificate of Recognition and will compete at the State Academic Decathlon on March 21, 2026; the board and county office honored the team at the March 11 meeting.
Alissa Maas introduced the Colusa High School Academic Decathlon team and told the board the team "will represent Colusa County at the State Academic Decathlon competition on March 21, 2026." Chuck Wayman presented the team and Colusa Unified School District Superintendent Rebecca Changus with a Certificate of Recognition for their opportunity to represent the county at the state level.
The board acknowledged the students and staff. The meeting record notes the team will participate in the Octathlon event (an online team competition) and that the county office recognized the team’s accomplishment in a formal certificate presentation.
