Council approved a contract in the amount of $34,005.96 to Johnson Trucking and Black Topping for seal coating three city parking lots, including partial treatment of Lot D and full sealing of the Lake Story Pavilion lot. Staff said prior to sealing crews will complete patching and crack sealing and that re‑striping will occur after the work.
The project was advertised and two bids were received; staff said sufficient funds exist in the gas tax fund and parks fund to cover the work. Council voted unanimously to approve the contract.
