Council approves Avamore plat easement vacation to allow 1-foot lot adjustment

Sabrina Durkee presented an application on behalf of Resideo Homes requesting the vacation of a side utility easement in Avamore Phase 1 (Lot 89, Block 55) to allow a one-foot lot-line adjustment so a corner lot would meet building footprint requirements.
"I am presenting to you the application for a vacation of a side utility easement within the final plat... specifically Lots 89 Of Block 55," Durkee said, adding that affected public agencies had submitted written approval and that the item had been recommended for approval by the Planning & Zoning Commission. City planning staff confirmed the same site-specific conditions of approval were recommended to the council.
With no public comment, a council member moved to approve VAC-2025-03 with the site-specific conditions presented; the council seconded the motion and voted in favor.
