Committee reorders agenda, postpones P&Z presentation and holds Open Meetings/Records training

With P&Z membership short, members agreed to postpone the scheduled planning-and-zoning presentation and instead hear a training session. City Attorney David Morrison led the training, explaining requirements and common pitfalls under the Open Meetings Act and Open Records Act.
Morrison said the training's purpose was to clarify “what the Open Meetings Act really means” and to give practical guidance for the city's committees and boards. The committee adjourned after the presentation.
