Coaches tout record seasons; community member urges expanded K–8 feeder programs

Jenn Simmons represented the varsity basketball program and reported a school-record 13 wins. Scott Ishimoto said the girls soccer program had its best season on record, and Shannon Pulliam reported the football team compiled a 10–3 record and reached the semifinals.
During visitors' comments, Trish Anthony asked the board to expand feeder programs at the district's K–8 sites to strengthen future athletic competitiveness. Trustees acknowledged the request and noted coordination with site principals and the Minarets Foundation on athletic resources.
The board did not take formal action on the feeder-program request at the meeting.
