The Colusa County Board of Education unanimously approved the three-year Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) Local Plan at its June 17 meeting. Superintendent Chuck Wayman told the board he used the state template to draft the governance section, that committees contributed to the draft, and that district boards have already approved their portions; after this Board’s approval the final plan will be submitted to the California Department of Education (CDE).
The motion to approve was made by Serena Morrow and seconded by Diana Lytal; the minutes record unanimous approval. The minutes describe the SELPA Local Plan as a governance document guiding the SELPA and do not list specific program or funding line items in the board record.
