The Colusa County Board of Education unanimously adopted the 2026-27 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) after a presentation by Educational Services Assistant Superintendent John Ithurburn. Ithurburn reviewed the 2026 performance indicators, described the LCAP as a self-reflection tool, and discussed survey results from S. William Abel Academy (SWAA).
Board action to adopt the LCAP was moved by Serena Morrow and seconded by Cristy Edwards. The minutes state the motion "carried unanimously." The Board also reviewed the 2026-27 CCOE Annual System of Support Plan, which summarizes CCOE’s approach to differentiated assistance to districts and will continue to guide district support in the coming year.
