Students and staff highlight extracurricular achievements; FFA officer recognized

Student representative Kenzley Holmes outlined Minarets High School spring activities including a Lip Dub (theme: 2016 trends), drama performances April 25–27, prom at the zoo, Scholarship Night and FFA teams heading to Cal Poly. Principal Rhonda Corippo and the board singled out student Tessa Camacho for being elected state FFA reporter for a second consecutive year, and noted Maddie McLane’s first-place photo contest award.
Trustees and administrators congratulated students and reminded the community that upcoming events and fundraisers would be communicated to the board and public. No formal action was required.
