The board authorized a media equipment purchase for Minarets High School using the remainder of CTE funds to upgrade the department and better align instruction with workforce and industry needs. Principal Rhonda Corippo said the equipment will support college- and career-readiness through certifications and give students industry-aligned skills. Trustees approved the purchase unanimously.
The board also accepted donations listed on the consent agenda: $2,500 from Pamela Duffy to Minarets ASB and $16,170.25 from the Minarets Foundation for the Sea Train Snack Shack, which together total $18,670.25 in support for student activities and services.
