City staff delivered the monthly status report for January, reporting 15 utility cuts, 60 in-house pothole repairs (up from 50 in December), 22 building permits issued and 33 certificates of occupancy. Traffic citations for January totaled 219.
On the raw waterline project, staff said shipments of DR-21 pipe arrived in the last two weeks and that about six miles remain to install. Work on the header project at the pump station began Feb. 17, and two 25,000-gallon surge tanks will be installed at the Tuwaukene pump station as part of the project.
