During the discussion a committee member observed, "My fear is that otherwise... people are gonna say, you know, I don't think we need to attend this year," urging staff and the committee to consider format changes to rebuild momentum.
The committee asked staff to provide a debrief of the Diwali event and vendor feedback; staff committed to returning with a deeper report next month.
