The council did not authorize any immediate land-transfer or tax action; instead, a council member moved and the body approved a motion directing the administrator to collect survey documents, appraisals and other records so the city attorney can review options.
The motion was presented as a fact-finding and preparation step. The Chair said owners have paid taxes according to the appraisal district and that the next step is to take materials to the city attorney for legal guidance. No boundary change or formal encroachment action was taken at the meeting.
