The Chamblee City Council approved the development and associated variances for properties at and around 1900–1901 Century Boulevard, subject to a set of seven conditions read into the record. Key conditions included substantial conformity with the submitted site plan and elevations, parking ratios (1 space per 100 square feet for restaurants; 1 space per 300 square feet for other retail), provision of a 30-foot permanent easement to accommodate a future trail along the southern boundary of 1901 Century Boulevard and the eastern boundary of 1900 Century Boulevard, and dedication and recordation of an approximately 0.45-acre parcel to the city prior to issuance of certificates of occupancy.
Other conditions addressed temporary construction easements, trash-collection pad usage, and a restriction on using certain cementitious siding in a horizontal lap pattern. Council moved and seconded the action and voted unanimously to approve the development subject to the conditions stated on the record; the mayor noted the approval “as stated by council member Veith” when calling the vote.
