Kearney parks staff say new web climber, merry‑go‑round and skate equipment on schedule

He added the merry‑go‑round (referred to as the "10 spin") will arrive before the climber and will be installed first, with the installer returning later to install the climber at no extra charge.
Board members heard that skate‑park equipment has been ordered and installation is scheduled to start June 16; staff said the skate park will be closed during the multi‑day installation for safety. Staff also noted metal restroom doors for Mac Porter Park have arrived and will be painted and installed in early May. Parks staff said they are keeping older mowers for rough work while a new rear‑discharge mower is on backorder.
The board did not take formal action on the playground items at this meeting; staff said they will bring any contracting documents to the Board of Aldermen when required.
